Political lobbying

Material poverty means lack of food, having no roof over one's head, no access to education and health care, no means of employment, no rights. Such poverty is a blight on humanity.

Fastenopfer and its partner organisations work to reduce the debilitating scourge of material poverty through programmes in countries in the South, and through political lobbying to transform unfair distribution systems and structures of injustice.

Fastenopfer supports measures designed to lead to a more just world economic order and to ensure that the concerns of the South are given a legitimate voice.
